Sunrex ANEMONE CITY

Regular price $660.00

Anemone City takes its inspiration from the classic dive chronographs of the 1950s and the magnetic pull of one of the Maldives’ most iconic dive sites. The gradient blue dial reflects the deep tones of the ocean, adding a touch of undersea color to your wrist. The chronograph features will remind you of the precision tools used by early underwater explorers. And a polished stainless steel case as tough as the reefs it’s named after. This watch adds timeless style to your everyday adventures.
If you’re after a dive watch that’s as cool as it is functional, this is the one that will make waves.

OLD TECH, MODERN TAKE
Epson VS75A Solar

Built with a contemporary twist on traditional technology, the Anemone City Diver’s Chronograph uses solar-powered movements—Viluminus.

This watch runs on light. The dial’s solar cell converts light intoelectricity, powering itself and storing excess in its secondary battery, providing up to 5 months of charge when fully powered.

NOD TO THE PAST, MADE FOR THE PRESENT
The 1930s introduced the world to water-resistant watches, but it was in the 1950s that dive watches really found their footing. This was the decade when diving evolved from a military necessity to a recreational adventure.

As more people took the plunge, the demand for user-friendly dive watches skyrocketed. Timepieces from that time weren’t just practical, they became iconic symbols of exploration, mixing durability with timeless style.

With rotating bezels, improved water resistance, and enhanced luminescence, these watches redefined what dive watches should be. Watches like Anemone City.

This golden age for diving innovation meant that when, in the 1970s, a group of adventurous divers geared up to explore the uncharted waters of Anemone City, in the Maldives, they had 3 things at their disposal: basic gear, a need for adventure, and a trusted chronograph watch.

The Anemone City Diver’s Chronograph is our tribute to that time. We made a watch that early divers would have loved by combining the iconic 1950s style we adore with modern practicality. And we’re willing to bet you’ll feel the same when you glance at your wrist.
